The Empty template error is a known issue, already fixed. I actually ended up running the installer from where I unzipped it, not from the Program Files\AutoHotkey folder. It seems I can just user the installer with the /uninstall switch to reset the system config to be able to see ui-editor.ahk as a listed editor. in that the ui-editor.ahk opens, but of course there is basically nothing to edit, as that script is not a text editor. Note that when I leave the ui-editor.ahk as the selected editor, and then pick a script creation option that is not "Blank Slate" it. And when going back to the Editor Selection window after selecting a legit text editor, there is no more selection for the ui-editor.ahk option. After selecting one of the editors, script creation works fine, as long as I don't select "Blank Slate". ![]() Shortly after a few of these errors, I went back to the Editor Selection window to pick Notepad or Notepad++ (which were the 2 listed on my machine - apart from ui-editor.ahk). There seems to be no avoiding this error when clicking on Create or Edit with "Blank Slate" selected in the Script Creator window.
